I am a follower of Jesus and a mom of 5 kids. I’m a birth and postpartum doula as well as a childbirth educator. I have been fascinated by birth since a young age, and hired a doula for my VBAC in 2017.My desire is for the families I work with to feel supported and empowered throughout the process of bringing new life into the world. Whether a client is needing childbirth education, birth or postpartum support, my heart is to build a relationship and serve the family throughout the journey. While this season can be unpredictable, I desire for my clients to feel secure and educated in the decisions they make
From a young age, I was always curious and excited about pregnancy and babies. Now that I am a retired educator, I am fortunate to pursue my passion in birth work. As of 2019 I was trained and certified as a Birth Doula with DONA International. I help families learn the many choices available to them as they journey through pregnancy, labor, and delivery. I love helping families create and find that vision that they are most comfortable with. It is such a joy to help each family develop the tools they can use and encourage them with the emotional strength it takes to go through the birth process. I am there to encourage and support you from start to finish.

I love Jesus and love people. Â I am a wife and dog parent. Â I love coming along and supporting others. I am a Nanny turned Doula with a passion for nurturing others. Welcome! I'm so glad that you're here. My passion for supporting families ignited more than 10 years ago when I began my nannying career. I wanted to improve the world, and I found I could do that by investing in children. From loving on babies to playing with toddlers to meal-prepping for parents - I enjoyed supporting families as a whole. And after nurturing children for more than a decade, I realized I could do even more by supporting parents. My career shift began from nurturing babies and children as a nanny to nurturing mothers as a doula.
Just as a woman's heart knows how to pump, her lungs to fill with air, and her hand to pull back from fire. so her body knows how to birth.

Birth & Postpartum Doula

A doula and childbirth educator, and self-acclaimed scrunchy mama! Starting out as a home-birth mom, it has quickly become my passion to support and educate women during this season of life. I was a young mom who had no idea were to begin with educating myself on pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I realized I would need to advocate for myself and find the resources myself. I wanted to have control, autonomy, true informed consent, the freedom to move around and have time to labor naturally without being rushed. I have come to realize other moms have felt the same way. My difficult postpartum experience fueled me to also work as a postpartum doula and be that extra support for moms during their postpartum season when they really need to rest and bond with their baby. It brings me so much joy to be that resource for other moms out there who feel the same way I did and help them navigate this transformative season.

I am a wife, a mother to three earthly children, one angel baby, and a passionate follower of Christ. I’m a Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula, Breastfeeding Counselor, Childbirth Educator, Birth Photographer, Certified Placenta Specialist, and a Student Midwife. My main purpose as a doula is to hold space and educate women to be confident in their body as they go through this sacred, holy, and spiritual experience while gaining the knowledge of their god-given ability to give birth.
I reside in Atlanta, GA. I am a Certified Doula and Postpartum Doula, foodie, and public health graduate student. After graduating with my Bachelor's in Public Health, I learned about the high maternal mortality rate among women of color. From there, I developed a strong passion for improving maternal health outcomes for women. I desire to serve women in one of their most vulnerable states by equipping women and families with information and providing support during and after pregnancy. My love for Jesus is what drives the work that I do. I look forward to walking alongside each family during this time of transition.
